so I started a mug collection.

It’s always weird coming back to write here when I haven’t for a really long time.

2019 has been really great so far. Even before 2019 started, I’ve been working hard on a lot of different things and while nothing big has come from them yet, I’m so beyond happy with it. For one, I finished writing my very first novel back in November during nanowrimo. Currently in the very slow and tedious process of editing and, well, making it readable. But I’ve been riding the high of that accomplishment for the past few months. I’ve already started planning out the novel I want to write later this year.

I also sort of started a business. It’s kind of hard to explain right now (even harder to explain to my friends and family) and frankly I’m not interested in talking about it until things are really up and running. Which probably won’t be for a while. I’m just saying it now so you know that whenever I’m talking about ‘work’, I’m probably talking about that.

Oh also, I’ve been writing somewhat consistently on my instagram page. I love writing there, even though I really need to stay disciplined to write there consistently. I’m on a really good schedule right now that I set for myself and it’s been working well so far. With the consistent writing pieces I’ve been putting up there, it unfortunately does mean I’ll probably be writing here a lot less. Which is something I’ve sort of accepted for the time being. There’s only so much writing I can do at a time. I had a blast with the longer style of short stories I used to do here, but those are rather time consuming. It probably won’t stay that way forever. But I’m happy with the way things are right now.

In the programming department, I’m about to publish an android app I’ve been working on for a few months. It started off as a small thing to work on in between the bigger ideas but I loved working on it a whole bunch! Really happy with how it turned out, and as always I’ve learned a ton of stuff while working on it. Namely I learned how to quickly and efficiently change the app’s styling on the fly!! You can bet I’ll be bringing that over to my other stuff at some point. The app isn’t up yet so I don’t have a link for you, but I’ll link you to it when I do. Which, given my track record with posting on here, probably won’t be for a while…

Anyhow, other small little updates: I’ve started an awesome mug collection, I went to New York with a good friend and had an awesome time, I’m currently obsessed with jojo’s bizarre adventure, recently (by recently, I mean last summer) read the name of the wind and was really into it for a while, oh and I’m probably going to take a dancing class soon.
