Before starting a new blog post, I usually visit my favourite blog for some inspiration. Something I’ve realized is that the key to really great reading material is found at the intersection of having something to say and believing that what you’re saying is worth listening to.
I think the first thing is fairly straightforward. You just need to find something you’re either passionate, curious or interested in. I find the second thing is a bit trickier because to do that you’ll need to build up your sense of self-worth.
Whenever I write anything there’s always a thought in the back of my mind that tells me there’s no point to it. Either it’s already been done by someone better or that it’ll add nothing to the grand cosmic scheme of things. Whatever it is you’re working on, it’s important to remember that although it may have been done before, it’s never been done by you.
